December is a very special month for us. First of all, it’s the season of giving and celebrating with our loved ones. Second of all, we get a glimpse of winter in the desert and we get to flaunt our boots, the few times it rains!
While on a rampage to buy the perfect gifts for our loved ones, we happened to pick up a few things for ourselves too! Because who said we can’t buy ourselves gifts? 🙂
Here are some of our newest beauty additions…
Fenty Beauty PRO FILT’R Foundation
So many beauty bloggers were raving about this foundation, so we just had to try it out. And they were right! It has such a smooth and subtle texture, and lasts all night long. We don’t usually wear foundation during the day, only when we go out at night, so from our experience this is one of the best foundations to wear on a night out! How can we tell? From our photos! Our faces looked so radiant and natural, and the effect lasted all night. What’s great is that Fenty Beauty has 40 different shades of foundation, so it’s easy to get the perfect shade for your skin!
Because of our fair complexions, blush is one of our morning essentials that really makes a difference. We always need just a bit of blush to brighten and revive our face. That’s why we always keep a few different shades in stock. And we absolutely love MAC’s blush. We have a bunch of pinks and peaches, which appear nicely on our cheeks without having to apply too much!
When it comes to mascara, we have to admit we aren’t loyal to a specific brand; we keep trying out different mascaras, even if we’ve already found one we love. We recently tried this Miss Baby Doll mascara by L’Oréal, and we loved it so much we just bought our own. It has a unique roller brush shape that curls your lashes really nicely.
This is from the Bath and Body Works Christmas collection, the one we wait for every year. We love their entire collection, especially this candy apply body mist. It smells just like Christmas!
Fragonard – Fleur D’Oranger (orange blossom)
Orange blossom is one of our favorite scents. It’s a long-lasting and refreshing mix of neroli blossoms with bergamot, jasmine and musk. The House of Fragonard is a French perfumery that offers not only perfumes, but cosmetics, soaps and home scents. Thanks to a friend who told us about this brand, we are now obsessed with its perfumes!
