For my husband and I’s sixth wedding anniversary, we wanted a staycation in the city we love: Abu Dhabi. Because we’re December weds, we like celebrating our wedding anniversary in Abu Dhabi just because the weather is perfect during this time of year and the city has a lot to offer. So when we discovered a beautiful new hotel has opened in the heart of Abu Dhabi, Royal M Hotel, we booked a weekend stay without hesitation.

The first thing I noticed when I arrived was the grandiose entrance, stunning marble floors and a breathtaking infinity pool.

I was just as impressed with the suite: the space, décor and cleanliness that reflected luxury and serenity. Having a sea view suite was the cherry on the top.

We spent the weekend lounging around the pool, and particularly enjoyed the sun beds which were semi-private, perfect for couples. At some point during the day, we were entertained with live music and a water show, which added a touch of amusement to our stay.

Their breakfast buffet was the perfect size and selection. We indulged in a variety of cheese, eggs, pastries and waffles – all were delicious. The best part was having breakfast by the pool, making it all the more refreshing for us.

We’ll definitely be back to Royal M, thanks to its great hospitality, beautiful views and delicious food.
