If you know me well, you would know that I am a big fan of self-care and I believe in setting a skin care routine because only when we take good care of ourselves, we can take care of the people around us.

As a woman passionate about beauty and skin products, my grocery shopping always ends up with creams and makeup shopping! I am curious to learn about new products so you can imagine how my trolley looks. At the same time, I am someone who is loyal to the brands I buy from especially when it comes to skin care because it’s about trust. However, during one of my grocery shopping days, I was introduced to Herbolene natural oil jelly and I was impressed by its soothing, healing and moisturizing properties. Since then, I use it on a daily basis and it always ends up in my purse when I am going out!

I would love to share with you five reasons why you need to chuck your Petroleum Jelly bottle and pick up this Natural Jelly!

1. Soothes chapped lips

Especially when the weather is dry, it’s the best way to avoid chapped lips. It works like magic and my lips feel so soft! I also apply it prior to wearing lipstick!

2. Moisturizes cracked feet

Tell me about it! I’ve always had cracked feet because of wearing shoes all day everyday and Herbolene helped me a lot in healing the cracks as it’s a great moisturizer that leaves the skin so soft! I apply it before going to bed and when waking up in the morning!

3. Softens the drier parts of the elbow

When summer hits, elbows get dry and Herbolene is what I use to avoid dryness in this area! I don’t like when they are dry and this is why I keep this jelly in my purse, for emergencies 😉

There are seasonal desserts and there are desserts that go well with every season! That can definitely be said about apple pie. However, if you’re trying to make a lighter version of apple pie, do it without the pie – just make the filling and top it with some ice cream. It’s easy to prepare and everyone will love it!
