Apple pie filling with ice cream

There are seasonal desserts and there are desserts that go well with every season! That can definitely be said about apple pie. However, if you’re trying to make a lighter version of apple pie, do it without the pie – just make the filling and top it with some ice cream. It’s easy to prepare and everyone will love it!

Ingredients:

6 apples (add more depending on number of people)
Cinnamon powder (based on preference – we like to add more)
1 squeezed lemon
3 tbsp brown sugar
Nutmeg powder (based on preference)
3 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp butter

Instructions:
Peel and cut the apples into small pieces and place them in a bowl.
Add cinnamon powder, nutmeg, lemon juice, brown sugar and cornflour.
Mix everything together and place the bowl in the fridge for 2 hours.
Take out the mix and place it in a cooker with butter for a few minutes to warm it up.
Mix well until brown or to taste.

Top it with vanilla ice cream and some more cinnamon powder!
